you cant compare a stock class gun to an electro....your wallet will love playing pump though....but you will get lit...cuz everyone likes to shoot dumbasses who dont know what emags are.

Umm... Ok, I'm going to steer away from flaming...

I personally would grab a CCM pump out of those two. They are just too nice. But if you don't like pumps, go for the electro (just not that one, there are plenty of other good ones out there. Or pneumag your 'Mag!)

You might want to buy a cheap pump first to see how much you like the style of play. Pump play is completely different from semi play. You seriously cannot just play the same as you would with a semi. Just look around on eBay for a nice Hornet or Maverick or someother cheap pump (for starting, I would recomend a Nelson base for ease of maintenence/throubleshooting and built in AT). Maybe if you like it you could upgrade to a Phantom or that CCM (I love Sheridan based guns).

This has the makings of being the second funiest thread that I ever read.

Don i like the gear, but it will slow you down when you try to play pump. I would go with a lighter set up and dump some of the gear. You will be more leathal if you are quicker.

that makes sense, but i am going to play open class pump. iv'e played scenarios before (im sure many of you have also), and having mucho paint= longer gametime, because you don't need to go back to the staging area to fill up. so i like the vest, plus my old one is well.... too old. thanks for the suggestions!

                            You realize that
                            a) stick feed is so much more fun
                            b) ss-25 is not a 12 gram friendly gun without a check valve
                            c) 1000 rounds of pods is really unecessary. You might shoot 250-500 shots in open class with a ss-25 at a scenario... maybe.

You'll love the ss-25 and I hope you do find utility for all that gear.

It also depends on your tank. Can it hold enough air to shoot that many paintballs. I didn't count the pods, but for me i only carry 2-3 pods and a hopper.

thanks your post was very helpful compared to the many PBN-like post replies ive gotten. im hoping this will save me paint as well. even with my automag i went from a double trigger to single because i depend on accuracy more than ROF. so i think pump will save me $$$ as well as be a more fun way of paintball. i will still keep my z micromag, i never give my babies away, so i can still play semi if i need to. thanks again!
