Be very careful with that solenoid! I just broke my second barb making my solenoid and EP zgrip useless.

Very nice job you did there though. I bet that really confuses some people at the field.

I am thinking of buying that very solenoid... how are they so easily broken?
      Or are they just crappy?
Should I get the slightly larger solenoid from ASP?

The fittings are plastic and connected to the solenoid, so when one breaks you can not replace it. I actually broke my first one trying to remove a hose from it.

On a side note, mine is slightly diffrent from the one he is using, mine is "S070C-VDG-32" which is just a 6 volt version instead of 5 volt. SMC did say that it could handle 100 psi though.

Very interesting rig. I wonder, would it be possible to stuff a dm board into a Logic UMF frame??

Havnt seen the insides of a UMF but from the outside it looks like a dm4 board would fit..and im not sure if the dm5 board is same size and what not(he used a dm5 grip)....dm4 board is only like 2 3/4 inches long and maybe 1 3/4 inches wide i would say..just estimates.

I have a Pm6 grip frame..that is already kind of hacked up..and a dm4 grip frame in regular working order if anyone is interested.

Hey cpt. will you be at PC anytime in the near future? If so i might have to make a trip by there to see this beast.

So if dm boards can run a mag how come more people dont do it? Everybody is like "no modes on the mag sucks" . If puting a Tadao in a Mag is that easy I would think everybody would be on it

There is more to it then just the board, Matrices are electro phuematic, and mags arte sear trippers..the mag needs a pancake noid which is different then the matrix noid.. not sure what its called and cant think of the terminology for the metal peice inside of it..im not sure how you would do it, but if you wanted to use, lets say a dm4 board because of the ease and low cost of changing chips instead of whole boards it could be done..as seen above.

Edit: My bad i ment to say that it could be done with a noid other then a pancake..as proven below..

Unfortunately it is not "just that easy" to do.

If you wanted to do something like this you'd have to know a bit about EP markers, seer trippers, pnuemags...bits and pieces. The mounting of the frame and board are the easy parts depending on the bits...It's running the hosing, the lpr, the milling (or dremeling) it's fitting the solenoid, it's fitting the mpa3. Then you have to make it pretty ^^.

My hope is to make a Shocker framed EP mag one day, but I'm starting slow with just a regular pneu.

It's a nice sounding set up, can't wait till it's cleaned up a bit.
