Plamer makes the hurricane ... basically the same thing though ... i looked at them after i saw all of the KP's on ebay.

I added it to my list of paintball crap that I want ... The first 2 should be taken care of soon but I fear that I may have to decide between the hurricane and a pumpkit for the mag

You need to put the hurricane at the top of that list!

That is only part right. The KP is a pump rifle, the Plamers Hurricane is a semi-auto (Camile was the first working gravity fed semi which started it's life as a KP1). Palmer can also make a gun called a Painter which is a pump rifle. The thing is, you can't just call up Palmers and say "I want to buy a Hurricane (or Painter)". You have to have the stock and trigger assembly that you send in. Then they take the stock and trigger assembly and fit a Typhoon (semi) or Houndstooth (pump) to it to make the rifle. It takes more work which means you pay a higher price. If you have the stock and trigger a Hurricane will cost around $900. You could also get a KP series rifle converted to semi by having it converted to a Stroker. I am not sure what that would cost, but you have to factor in the initial cost of the KP.

Here are the parts of a Hurricane

            WOW
I bought one form a guy at a yard sale last week for 25.00.
It has a custom wood stock for a lefty and been set up to run a 9 oz tank.
I think I will get it working and then perhaps sell it :)

I will post some pics tonight
