    Pump Tank Poll

Which do you think would be a better tank for a PMag-

    3.5 oz CO2

    or

    13CI 3000PSI HPA

It has a ULE body and a classic valve.

Mags are gas hogs. you'll need the Co2

I love my 13/3000 tank, but have yet to try it on a automag. 13ci should be plenty for a game or 2 of pump, I dont see why it wouldnt.

If you got the funds go for the 13ci

If you got limited funds go for the CO2

Depending on what kind of ball you play and where you play might be a bigger factor in which one is better.

They are both good and will work fine on a p-mag. C02 will only give you issues in very cold weather. Unless you regularly play in sub 50* weather I'd get the 3.5 and put the savings toward a few paintball outings.

if you have access to HPA refills, spring for the 13cu. As a pumper... you need ball on ball consistency.

However, if you will need to shoot a day's worth on one fill... you'll be needing co2. Co2 can be consistent if your not shooting super fast. Seeing as your playing pump - you'd be fine.

I really reccomend a 12 gram changer with check valve. your setup will be rediculously light.

I've thought about similar setups in the past ... but 12g efficiency leaves something to be desired.

ohhh ... rrfireblade knows some tricks on making mag valves more efficient on 12ies ... put the two together and ... well you got one bad a55 setup ...

            I like pneumagger's idea.

i would prefer air over co2. but a palmer stabiliser can make your shots w/ co2 more consistant.

If you can access the air all day then I think that would be the better choice, as long as the tank is not to long for your setup.

I got 22 ci tank on my ss25. Of course I had to put a substantial drop forward on it on order to use it though. But it works for me!
