However, for that price I say go for it. As long as it works.

I had one just like that. The few months that I owned it, one board and solenoids later, I sold it aswel to somone on here who finally got it working.

Good to know that somone of Tom's status seeks "relief" from a sport he helped create. A sport now ruled by a single patent.

There's no way you're going to get a quality mag with an airtank for that kind of money.
i was just joking about the mag thats why i inclued the ftw because i wasnt serious

and derrr u didnt read the part about the ion. after asking in my other thread thats probably what ill get when i got the moneyna whats a new ion cost down there in the states? like 190? so used its got a reasale for about 100-120 so then u can get over 100 bucks worth of mods on it as opposed to the stock imp and if he is already into paintball he has proably got a tank so thats not a biggy

but reading the newer post and the author doesnt want an ion id go for a used angle or older pm

After all the problems I've had with my '03 Shocker, I can't recommend SP to anyone. Sure the gun shoots great, looks good, upgradable and all, but the poor customer service kills it. My Shocker has been in the shop for 7 months! 7 MONTHS!!! Waiting on a solenoid board...

I'm sure Imp's are nice, but SP customer service sucks.

I guess there's a reason the resale is low..

I'm going to head over to LVP next weekend and try and test out the DP fusion and Ion.. they are all out of Mini's unfortunately..

Resale is low because at one time, everybody and their brother had an imp. That, and like everything else in paintball, since it isn't the newest and flashiest, it's obviously a terrible gun.

                Triangle,
                You make me chuckle.

                flashgordon,

I loved my Imp. I am sorry I traded it. They are very nice guns, there is nothing wrong with them at all. Provided that one you saw is working it is a great deal, I'd be on it like flies on dookie if I were you.

A used Blazer is never a bad idea. If you enjoy mech play over electonic I believe trying a Blazer is an absolute must .

Yeah, buying trends in paintball make it hard to actually find the good markers.. there is a bandwagon effect, and fervent brand loyalty, as well as a desire to emulate professionals

I just wish the people that write the reviews for Pbreview.com didn't ride the shortbus to school

                    EDIT:
Yeah.. Tracking down a used Blazer is the only problem

LOL I knew I was missing something!

I love my Imp too. I had a bare bone one. No vision, horizonal reg, no nothing. It shot awesome; I was addicted to the stock trigger .

I wouldn't say that, but Palmers know how to make their side of the mech market; that's for sure. I think the other side clearly belongs to the Automag. It's basicly the same old Mag vs. Cocker but now it's RT ULE vs. Blazer.

CLEARLY the latest paintball rivals are Palmer markers vs Mags.

There's no way the amount of people who shoot mech mags compares to the amount of people who shot Stacked Tube blowbacks, tippys, or whatever other marker you wanna throw in there.
....OR the Blazer, for that matter.
