Kidney_Theif on MCB can do that! He also makes alluminum rails and an alluminum plunger with a velocity adjuster. Just plain cool.

its a piece of paintball history. id take a splatmaster over any electro-wunder wizbang gun. except an Xmag. call me sentimental ( im really just xcited because i love old stuff like this. paintball guns, real guns, cars. the older the better)

now i gotta show my uncle what a nelsopt 007 and KP series look like

ahhh the Splatmaster, man I miss my days of playing with mine in the woods near Rossburg Ohio... Good times for sure, Ted and I would SPLIT a bag of 200 balls and play from 10-4 on Sundays and still have a few tubes left.

              The good old days.

Nice find for sure. Still functional I take it?

                    Because its older than you.

                    Simply put its paintball history.

If you never experienced a pump game you need to try it. One of the best paintball experiences I ever had.

After reading all the posts I went and dug mine out of the closet.
Mine was a field rental gun.
The number stamped in the side is A 2279.
I haven't used it in years. I think I'll tear it down this weekend and see how the insides look.

I know what you mean about sentimental-ness. I came in at the beginning of the electro age and am in love with the "older" electros. Things like Angel LCD's, Defiants, Bushmaster LCD's, Rainmakers, Shockers, etc., are just so cool to me. But Ego's? Eh... Ion? Eh... I don't really care for them that much.

Good luck on convincing him to shell out for a KP! (And if he does, get me one! )

I personally don't think they're all that special, but they are really fun to putz around with. I've had many fun games with mine.
