AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I'd be willing to bet you can make your own from something like a 2x4 if you have some simple shop tools like a table saw, some chisels and a drill press. I may be attempting that here soon.
i know u siad u dont want to use wodden grips because of the weather and you want it to feel like your electro, but frankly the grip frame (IMHO) wont matter to much on how it feels. if your worried about how the wood will react to bad weather just seal it up well (makking them will give you a pretty good sizing for everythign and gives a little extra hardcore factor)
The reason no one makes grips for the AM frame is because it went out of style in favor of the .45 frames (like the Dye grips you mentioned) about 8 years ago.
Your only options are wood grips, custom made grips, or the PMI grips. The PMI rubber grips are probably your best option, as they are the closest thing to what you want for the least money.
as for wooden grips, did you know that there is a wood that they use for underwater bearings? They dont treat the wood with anything, just naturally waterproof. There are several woods that are naturally water repellant, but you can seal any wood with a good sealant and it will serve you well.
WOW, sigs. Havent seen these in a while here on AO.
I've seen a few with rubber sheridan grips on them ... they don't fit perfectly but they work... Good luck finding anything else that will fit without modifications ...
Triangle wasn't being mean at all. You guys need to chill out. He meant that in paintball, there is always something that someone wants but isn't available for one reason or another. He was being sarcastic. I don't know how anyone could be dense enough to think he was saying, "welcome to paintball" as in he thought you were new.
ok i gave up trying to find grips for the CF frame so i baught the intelliframe. my only question now is. for those of you that own an intelliframe (oh and i do have the ULT in it as well), how easy is it to walk this trigger?
