curious again about the IPPA....paintball in its early stages of development, surely had guys/girls that started/tested theories, safe speeds of paintball....so why did the IPPA go defunct? these people concerned, to me, are like the forefathers of this great sport...or did commercialization/the bottom line take over? why can't this IPPA be reborn?

technology changes, people change, but the bottom line is safety for everyone...still curious, because i am making a scrapebook of my travels, playing days, and want to include the IPPA with my scrapebook...when i can not play anymore, i can sit back in that ole' rocking chair and reflect back....i am 63, playing 6 years now, and having fun wherever i travel.....Michigan Monster, Games in Ohio where i live, at Billies in Ludiwici Georgia...

i would be a youngster, compared to many of you that have played for years...Happy New Year to all, and have safe paintballin days ahead for all...kenny (thegrayghost)...

sorry Mods if i ramble on...but this game of paintball has a commradery for everyone wherever one travels to...whether young and very old...

I don't know why the IPPA went under. But, in today's paintball world I don't think it would ever come back. Too much money in the sport now. There is practically nary a soul in the business anymore that care about the players other than what the players can give them in the form of currency.
