To tell you the truth a Minimag is an Automag with a different body. Any pictures of mags you see could have origanaly been Minimags. If your going to mod the hell out of your gun just buy an Automag. It is the same basic thing.

As you see top is with the Y grip and bottom is with the stock grip. The stock was great until my warp sensor went out and I had to go intelli. The Y frame was the most comfortable thing out there and witht he warp I had the most compact setup that I have yet seen. Saddly I tried to pneumag it myself and completely f'ed it up. I really liked it however with the warp feed and PF Right. That way I could use the warp with nothing showing and use the hopper on top again without changing bodies, in a way I got the best of both worlds. In this setup, with stock on/off, I could pull steady about 6-8 measured on a big red and I topped out at 10. Sickest mech I have ever shot.

Jayloo.com has quite a few pictures of various Automags and Minimags in various degrees of modification. Here's a direct link to the Airgun Designs mechanical section;

I actually love those drops. I fell in love with them on the early Gen-X 'Cockers. I think they're horribly uncomfortable on a .45, but for some reason I still think they're nice.Originally posted by dave p
