    APG gun buying list

well some of you may have seen the APG special issue around x-mas with the gun buying guide in it.

they had almost every gun, atleast the more popular ones.

there was the tac e-mag first in the list, and towards the end the q-bow tac, and the vert and warp mech tac's

is there a reason that the ULE mag was not included? or am i overthinking things a bit?

just curious...anyways it was nice that agd had atleast 3 guns and a gun base for the q listed.

the tac price of 1105 with warp did seema bit steep though (not that its a ripoff)

APG was a great magazine when I started playing paintball. Now it's all about PBZX.

I was looking at some old issues right now and it is like the same damn articles in each issue. I did see some mags in there so that made me smile. But, I have to admit, APG did help me with my recball game, like "How to Avoid an Electro Ambush".

To stay on topic, I was seriously dissapointed with the issue and the magazine as a whole. I usually pick APG in the winter to get my fix of paintball during the offseason. The gun guide looked the EXACT SAME as last years. Notice how there are many discontinued models? Also many new models that aren't in the magazine? Yet there are ads for them in the mag? Furthermore, they don't compare the same specs. There are weights for some marker, modes are classified differently...etc. It seems like APG picks the specs up right from the manufacturer without doing any research. The laziness of the writers is painfully obvious. Furthermore, the articles are terribly redundant from issue to issue, with very little thought or insight from the writers. Examples: "Stay behind cover or you may get hit!" "Communicate with your teammates!" "Look around to be aware of your surroundings!"

Sorry for the rant but it is very poor journalism that they pass of to us.

On a side note, can anyone recommend a good publication?
