No, it was the Chat party that Tom threw because the forums were down for like a week due to the server crashing and the hosting company having little or no backups of the system. This was back in like early 2001 or so.

The Emag I own I won in a "pop party" in AO chat. If I recall correctly, Tom was feeling generous because of the contract with FN. Basically you sent an email to a given address, and Tom picked one at random. I was the lucky one.
I still own it, although in a much modified form. There are pics of it on AO. I dont think I'll ever sell it. I even had him autograph the manual at the first AO NorCal vs. SoCal.

the best ao memories ( and some of the saddest) came from iao 2k3
we were there working with aka but spent most of the time pulling pranks on Air America with Jon.
Larry and Eileen were so pissed when things got out of hand and the AA guys stink bombed the AKA building
by the way we still have the Air America banner I stole while they were in their booth (and turned the other one upside down)
Jared from DC still has the AGD geek love sign
and Toms notes from the regulator theory class
I just remember Tom being so beaten down by the lawsuits and the industry in general
that IAO was the end of a lot of fun in paintball
