    Noob Power!

today, where am i? ans myself played some speedball at BPS. I played w/ my new ss25 wich was flawless, (legit 18 kills) we played from 10 to 5. It was great fun. When I watched the noob games, they had some sweet tactics, they all hid behind the carwash and popped up when one of them said go on the count of three. everytime they popped up, they would take out 2-5 people. It was so cool, and we (advanced players) gave them props. Thier moves were sweet for new players. I took some good pictures of the action, as well as some pics from the day, check them out:
    3-2-1...

    go!!!!

    close

ITZ CONORZ! OMGODZ! (where am I?)

    back playin

The field was all around great, easy to slide (w/ my new hybrid pants!) and the had nppl super 7 bunkers, nice. I had a god snake move, I dove into the snake, shimmied around the first bunker took out a guy behind it, I crawled to the end of the snake, and bunkered two new players, then i shot at a guy trying to bunker me, and we got each other out. 4 kills! conor whitnessed it too. Today was great and those noob moves were so cool, they made it better.

yes, at BPS, they classify your skill by the gun you have (i know, it's a sad thing). I had an SS25, Halo v35, air, basically not a noob setup. yes I played advanced, it was a great day. How would you know if Im an "advanced life form" or not? Ive never met you before, I don't know how good at paintball you are, and you don't know how good I am. So it;s funny how you make these judgements with no evedence to back up your claims. good job, yes im an advanced player. mabe we could play someday and I could prove that to you.

Cool moves ? If they tried that against any truly advanced players , I woulda bunkered the whole bunch of them at once.

Oh , and stop calling it kills.

ih you call it a "kill" then you are just helping the overall thought of paintball as a wargame.

listen to Jay, He's smarter then you...

"Getting it on" against n00bs is no challenge at all... Playing against a team that has more skillz than you, that's a challenge and i'll take that anytime! The field you played at is pretty biased in deciding what players are "advanced" or not... The gun you play with doesnt make you a pro or noob.

I agree the field is wierd, they have "open/advanced" games, meaning anyone can play, and "rental" games basically noobs, plenty of them played open advanced with us though. BTW i wasn't playing against noobs, I was taking pics. Those newbs werent that bad at all, one had a nice facedive snake play. I respect them, theyre the future of paintball.

If you took off the halo and explained that your shiny new gun was a pump, I bet they woulda let you play in rec class. Although... it seems you don't have an "advanced" class. It's just "rental" and "everyone else." Which would explain how you "bunkered two new players." Around here we have designated games for rentals only, open class(rec), and then team scrimmages that a lot of times you can get in on if you ask. It's nice bouncing back and forth between rec and scrimmaging. Rec is nice to try crazy stuff (run through off the break anyone?), and scrimmages are nice to work on your technique, make sure you're doing everything you're supposed to, etc. Playing against first time rentals(unless they move up themselves) is stupid. As soon as you let out anything over 8 bps, they cower in fear, leaving you free to pick them off. You shouldn't be able to play rental class.

Also, if you had picked up anything on these forums, you'd realize that RRFireblade's been around paintball a long time, probably longer that you've been alive, and he pretty much knows everything. He's respected just about everywhere, not only for the great work he does, but for the way he treats people. I'm not that nice. I'll tell you you were rude straight up. To call an elimination a "kill" is promoting paintball as a violent sport, something that paintball has been fighting against since its birth. I haven't yet met a person who is shocked to hear the statistics on paintball-related injury. The public just doesn't know. It is our responsibility(yes, even yours) to promote a sport you like in a positive way, so that it won't be crushed by legislation from ignorant politicians. Think about it... What's more important to you? Calling it a "kill," or having restrictions placed upon the game.
you know you play this game too much when the neighbors stop fixing their broken windows...
                            :shooting: :cuss:
