That does make sense though, a lot of NPPL style tournies are held up here in MA. Btw, you guys play at Fox4? Isn't that like 15 or 20mins from Worcester? If so, I might head up and go there sometime after March 12.

Fox4 is its more like 25 to 30 minutes, but its worth it, I drive from Fitchburg to play there. It really is one of the better fields in MA, hands down.

IMO Fox 4 is better speedball, but firendly Fire is hands down better for woodsball. I don't like fox 4's woods cause everytime I've gone it's just been like playing speedball in the woods, there's no leaves anywhere and it's just spray and pray cuase the bunkers are just too far apart to make moves.

3 man in New England is beginner speedball. 18 and under.

Fox 4 did a expirimental 3 man intermediate tournament for fun - not sure how it took off..

                3 man - beginner/rookie
                5 man - novice
                7man - intermediate/amateur

Per my experience, the overall experience at Fox4 is superior to the other fields within an hour.

Geeze and the rest of the group that run the operation are fantastic people, the refs are normal, the shop is decently stocked (just don't ask for anything mag).

Theres no foliage on the woodsball field cause there are 50 or 60 people on it each weekend, not this time of year of course. I've stopped playing speedball so I'm not sure how they stack up to other fields in that respect.

warbreak where are you at school?

Lol. Every noob thinks he's a novice or amateur. Just let the kid have his own delusions. I bet he'd get killed even in a rookie tourny.

I'd say +75% of the events in our area are 3 man for all experience levels. We have to travel several hours to get into 5 man events.

just wow. he's just mad because he wanted to try out for our 7 man and i told him he wasn't what we were looking for.

As for Fox4.. yeah, they're decent. geeze and crew do a good job over there. they've been good to us when we've hosted AO or AKAO days up there. Living in Boston, everything besides BPS is WEST of me. My home field is Canobie and we've done a good job getting consistent airball up there.. As a 7 man, we go where the teams are so we may find ourselves practicing one day at Canobie but another day of the weekend we will be at Maynard/Playboyz/Fox4/Birch Hill/Cape/etc.. It all depends on where the rotations are.
