AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I think they are all about the same. I have a ccm, and what ever themagsmith.com sells, and a few other generic ones. as long as it is a clamping style, and not a twisting one you should be good to go.
The RPG Sub-Zero was made specifically for ULE bodies.
I purposely made the Clamp using a larger bolt(1/4-20), for greater holding force and less chance of stripping. Other feednecks use smaller bolts(8-32 & 10-32).This allows for a larger clamp ring, covering more of the slots of the feedcup from paint hits that get into the neck.
The Sub-Zero is as low as it gets without modification. Competitors feednecks can only get lower if you cut the hopper neck.
I love the RPG Sub-Zero feed necks.
If they were Impulse threaded it'd be on my Invert Mini too
i have a ccm and a function twist type feedneck that came stock on my dark g7 fly. i like the function better, you dont need any tools and it holds my halo tight and doesnt come loose.
My new ULE is on it's way, and I'm curious what the best replacement feed neck is?
Must be black and have a clamp...
Another vote for the RPG Sub Zero. My Halo fits with no sanding, and the bolt has a nice large hole for your allen wrench. Makes it very easy to tighten. Looks great and has a nice low profile.
