    Need advice

OK, I'm going to get my younger sister an Electro for the upcoming tourney season. I need advice on a good solid marker. Relyablity is the most important factor here I want something that will not breakdown and is easy to maintain. The markers I'm looking at are the Eteck Ego, Shocker, Mini, Black Magic, or a closeout Intimidator. Basically the price range is about $500-$600 maybe alittle above but around there. What would you all suggest? Like I said reliabilty is most important as all Electros are fast and accuracy is all in the barrel anyway so lets hear what ya'll like.

Also she had an Ion and hated it as it had alot of issues and she already has a nice mech mag as a backup.

There's a nice Angel LCD in the B/S/T with barrel kits and a Halo for a very good price:

I've already got a Timmy and an E-mag so I don't plan on borrowing it. I am leaning toward the Black Magic as its relyable and easy to maintain, but while I don't personally care for them the shocker and E-teck are popular as well, and I don't know much about the Mini, basically I don't know what to get her and I plan to give it to her as a birthday present so I don't want her to know about it.

Who makes the fusion? I'll look for that thread. What is it similar to operation wise?

If your sister is smaller in size, get the Mini. Easy to maintain, small and light, especially nice for a girl.

I'd have to say viking. For $500-600, you could get a very nice, upped 04. My viking is by far the easiest marker to maintain. I play with it all day, no problems, day after day after day, and when I'm done, I do cosmetic cleaning. I don't take it all apart and clean every little bit. I just take some wet towel, wipe down the sides, clean the barrel, pull out the bolt(it pops right out), run a towel through the top bore, and I'm done.
When I take my first shot of the day over the chrono, it's right where I left it too...
And while my friend is messing with trying to get the velocity down on his angel, I'm sitting there kinda wondering... why can't he have as easy a marker as mine?

                    I vote Viking.
you know you play this game too much when the neighbors stop fixing their broken windows...

used DM4/5 or some kind of matrix.

I've owned a black magic and my local store has had two othere sides the one I bought and all three haven't worked properly. Mine made three trips back to WGP and never worked. I'd take it out of the box air it up shoot three-four tanks through it and the pump arm would break every time. The other guns jsut had other weird things wrong with them.

My matrix I've had since the DM5 came out and I've had to change the or-ings once, other than that lube the bolt every day after play (a five minute job) and your set.

Wow, all the black magics I've sold have worked flawlessly thats strange that yours have had such issues.

Anyway I want to go with a new marker, used is usually a better deal but its just not quite the same.

                          DM3
                          Mini
                          older Angel
                          Hyperfame her mag
                          Promaster
                          Fusion

Any of the above imo. I would though go for a smaller/lighter one. Therefore my list is brough to Mini, Hyperframe, promaster.

yea it was shame really I really liked the gun jsut had a nice feel to it and for those few tanks that it worked it shot like a dream. I ended up trading in at my store for a mini and a tank, not a bad deal IMO
