I appreciate. He was going to make some grips but I"m currently designing, milling my idea of the ultimate mag frame. A single trigger frame that is big enough for my huge hands. I need to get some new pics up of my mag. Maybe once I get the warp mounted perfectly and add the wood stock, and complete my frame, I'll enter it in the MOTM. -
glad to see this thread came out and get people attention, I myself was in progress to made a mislim E-Tac and need suggestion as well.
I would love to see a M16 stock made for Tac but personally I don't like it too much b/c I had try a T-stock on a AGD rail mount asa before and the "aim point" was too low that I had to tilt my head and neck to aim, maybe this just me getting old and getting tired easily. Anyhow this issue had been discussed before and don't get into it again.
find this stock on web for Glock, thinking of getting it and have Luke custom made a bracket mount it to the frame, I like the tactical look of it
and mount the Opsgear hideaway mag. instead of gas through for the battery
thinking of getting a A5 hand guard too, but affraid it not looking good on it b/c it just too big, anyway anyone can do a photoshop on it by putting all those pieces together and see how it come up? or any suggestion / route to made it more mislim.Last edited by Remagk; 02-22-2007, 09:56 AM.Comment

Wow, that thing would be perfect for mounting a fore grip. I'm glad we finally have a way. Honestly i don't see the point of that though, cause that's where most people put a fore grip.Originally posted by RogueFactorAlready exists-- its called the Recon rail & Picattiny rail
The front adjustable slot, and rear accessory slot were put there for a reason. I have always been surprised that tinkerers can put together a Pneumag, but never attempted to mount some picattiny rails to the Recon
With Picattinys, the mounting options are endless

Right now you are limited in your choices for the foregrip. By mounting the pic rail you can use and military foregrip or the limitless supply from opsgear and specops designed for their line of upgrades. You can also add a longer rail to mount the grip farther out, instead of having to custom make a mounting bracket like I did.Comment

What about a picatinny battery pack for the E-Tacs?Originally posted by BigEvilWell, i totally agree. and nothing against the rails (I own a few myself), but I think that when you look at some of what is available for the tippmanns, there is a world of potential for the mags.
Personally, I think a rail a few inches longer in the front would be great. It would let you mount a few different combinations of accessories to the gun. (ASA & Milsim foregrip, Grip & light, ect ect). Also, etac users need that front space for the battery, so the mounting slot is totally useless.
I have a few ideas for things im tossing around in my head, but I want to know what guys would want."I'd rather have a free bottle in front of me, than a pre-frontal lobotomy."--anonymousComment

I had an idea for a complete rail replacement that would use A5 stocks. Now that I see this thread, I completely forgot about it; I was supposed to send CAD drawings to jay8541 a while ago. Anyway, this was my idea, and if I buy a milling machine to go with my lathe, I'll probably make one. Rendered pics to show the idea.

Thats pretty much what I had in mind (glad I see im not the only nut around here:-)) The only thing I would do different, is 'flip' the part where the stock connects to.Originally posted by Ace12GAI had an idea for a complete rail replacement that would use A5 stocks. why not mount picatinny rails on the three/6 mounting holes provided on either side of an rt pro type rail? you could then make an adapter that would mount solidly to the two in the back, and still have one on either side in the front.
or mount full length rails along the entire length of the rail. spacers might be needed on an rt pro that steps in at the front..
with one mounting rail on either side of the mags rail and one behind the grip, i'd say you've got ample real estate to mount a stock if you can rig an adapter.
but if you couple that idea with a tac body, people might think you've built yourself a marker out of legos.
it would look like a cubist impression of a marker.
talk to the guys at http://undergroundmodshop.com/ . they're mainly tippmann guys, but i'm sure they'd love to tinker with some tacticool mags.Comment

Thats not a bad idea really, it would allow me to move the stock mount forward some. Of course, I think that might put the stock at an odd relation to the trigger frame though.Originally posted by BigEvilThats pretty much what I had in mind (glad I see im not the only nut around here:-)) The only thing I would do different, is 'flip' the part where the stock connects to.Comment

Well, depends. I would help you sight over the gun with a mask on. Just gotta make it small enough and shaped so your hand clears the grip.Originally posted by Ace12GAThats not a bad idea really, it would allow me to move the stock mount forward some.
