Well, if no one works on one for a while i can be the first to make a y-gripped one, although i'm sure someone has beaten me to the punch already.

the zgrip was designed when everyone and their mother used drops to bring the tanks as far in as possible.. when that was done, everyones wrist was all scrunched up uncomfortable - the zgrip helped combat that.

nowadays, the more popular setup is a longer/streteched out setup.

to each their own, though. good job.

z grip certainly allows the hose to go towards the back instead of going to the front near the foregrip.

Nice! Where'd you manage to get the xmag body? I expect to hear a good story behind it.

Also, do you have pics of how you managed to mount the valve? The mounting of the fabco was the hardest part of my two bushmaster frame pneumags.

I will kill you one day, i hope you know that, then i will dance on your grave like a pixie with your pnue-y-grip and claim it's mine. And no one will argue.

Seriously though, you took my two favorite ideas that i didn't have the funds to do, so i'm just happy to see them implemented. Great job on it again. I do hope you have a good story behind how you got the body, like you had to trek across vast mountains and such, then breast feed a gypsy baby to get it (sorry, i'm tired and out of it and it's slightly amusing to me).

I know that this is almost sac-religous but I disassembled an X mag. I just figured I would have the lowers match anno'd one day. I thought that this idea was to cool not to do, even at the expense of an X mag.

I don't have any pics of that specifically, I can take some for sure. What I did was use a very small piece of aluminum angle and bolted it to the inside using countersunk holes and flat head socket screws. If you look very closely you can see the very top of the 2 nylok nuts holding the angle. If you would like I will try and get some more detailed pictures.
