Help bring Paintball to X games on ESPN

paintball is a team sport so thats why its not in the x games...everything else is solo, one competing against all....im for it being on TV as much as anyone...but it just isnt practicle quite yet.

maybe in the near future.

I feel like if there was a single major governing body over paintball and if they used the moneyball format (I think there was a thread on here a while ago about it). The problem with paintball is there is too much going on at once for just one camera to see and moneyball takes care of that. I believe that is the only way paintball will make it on TV

correct....they did a good job with the circles under everyone on the ESPN network TV show...as well as there was one main camera, but when someone was eliminated...they took a break and replayed it and explained what happened and what he could have done to have not been eliminated.

we should abolish paintball... and convince ESPN to air MagBall! Lol, at least most of us wouldn't cheat then as mag owners we're a more mature community.

The wide spread use of high def. cameras and tvs will make paintball easier to watch on tv, as it will allow the "paint" to be seen easier.
Above that, the sport needs ONE governing body, and at least one format. Or, one thats for tv. I like all the diff. types of games and tourneys, but there needs to be ONE be all end all style for tv. Like "super bowl" for paintball. All teams can play the style they want, but then there is one BIG over riding game style for tv.

Hmm...i know what im trying to say, but i'll be damned if i can say it so it makes sense.

i gotcha ...if it were ever going to happen in the future it would have to revolve around how other sports are run. (i guess that can be good and bad) ..i mean say in a few years we had paintball that was ran like football. Teams have home fields (maybe even stadiums of some sort) and the season would work towards a "superbowl" pretty much like you said. I think that would be pretty bas *** if it was run RIGHT. Hopefully with enought experienced ref's it would cut down on cheating

If something like this were made by ESPN, with some games after like pbstar show, then I think it would be watchable.

Sorry, but after the last event that they showed, the format and the production needs to be changed before I'll want to watch it on TV again.
