It's obviously *** Weasel inspired (watch Dream Catcher if you don't get the reference)! Get it annodized in a flesh tone and watch all the women flock to you.

jk man. Looks pretty wicked actually, all by itself it looks kinda.. well familiar.. but mounted on a marker it would look nuts.

Interesting design. Looks like an altered Chord with a twist. Nice 3D image though.

I use Maya, but I'm trying to learn a CAD program. I definately need to start out with a AGD spec model and move from there.

I mean just design it. I don't have any kind of experience with metal working. And don't have the space/tools/time to try it any time soon.

I thought people wouldn't be into the too "organic" look it has. When I was working on it I kept thinking about insect legs for some reason. I'm working on something that's a totally different direction and will post some images at one point.

Oh, and I had a much more "organic" design that I put a "flesh" type of looking finish on it. I called it "Meatsicle"..........

I like them, but as you said they're just too organic for my tastes.

It looks.... pretty natural flowing, nice work, not my style but nice work.

It reminds me of you know those commercials with the caramel pouring in a straight line and it makes folds like that?

You could make, the first caramel Mag ever haha, watch people chasing after you to take a bite out of it.

I like it. It'll look a little different with a feedneck and the detents.

If you sharpened up some of the edges, you could keep the organic feel, but make it look more like armor plates like on an insect or something. That could be pretty cool.

As was mentioned, we really wont know until you have it on a matching style rail.

I say keep going with the 'Dune Worm' approach. Maybe make the front like the 3-sided mouth. You could give it a Duneish name like 'The Arrakis' or 'The Fremen'

'The Kwisatz Haderach' might be too big of a mouthful though

I don't know, I kinda like it lol!

                  Thanks for the compliment.

I moved onto a different design today. Not as organic, but has some "flow" to parts of it. I think this design could work with a Thrasher rail. I'll get around to making matching rails for the body designs at one point.

                    That second design is killer!
It's really cool to see all these people that are taking the evolution of the mag into their own hand (with the pneu's, Cerberus, this, and the slug revival lead by Rogue).
I just picked up an emag, and with the slug (hopefully) coming back, I really need to start saving for some upgrades.
                    Keep up the great work.
You think you might have any designs for us scenario players?

Thanks guys. I thought that one out a little more than the first. I actually have a scenario version in mind, but I haven't sketched anything I'm happy with. It's going to be called the "Sci-Tac"......

Hmmm. How bout "scales" for a reptillian look? I don't have any software to experiment with, so someone else has to do it.

The 2nd design is great but the body is to thick. I know its just a rough design but its pretty noticable. That thing would weigh a lot unless ya removed some excess material.

Put the other gun details on there to get a real idea of how it would look. Designing a body in a vacuum is trivial. Making one look good with the rest of the parts is more of a challenge.
