Bushing for a Powerlyte RT frame

I really like the looks and feel of the Powerlyte GripStyx frame, but I don't have an RT valve. I understand that a bushing is needed to secure the frame and rear frame screw due to the rear frame hole being larger to accomodate the RT banjo screw.

I have heard that these bushings were available at one time, but I haven't been able to locate any. Does anyone know who made them or where I can find one now?

    Thanks!

you could probably find one at your local home depot/ lowe's/ hardware store

a bushing is a metal tube that will take up the slack space in the larger hole and prevent your grip screw from moving around allowing it to hold tightly. it hard pressed, you could even make one if you had a little mechanical skill and patience.

I made one out of pvc ... with my dremmel tool.

I drilled a hole for the regular AM/MM bushing to fit into the PVC.

I then cut a square around that hole that was bigger than the hole in the frame.

Then i dremmeled the square down to more of a circle and then even further to where it was getting close to the regular am/mm bushing.

I just kept turning and turning and cutting down more and more then eventually started to see if it would fit in the grip frame ...

In the end i had a little thin ring what went around the am/mm bushing that kept side to side movement to a minimum.

        Thanks!

I know what a bushing is and what it's purpose is.

I have plenty of PVC lying arond so I think that I'll do turbo's PVC jobbie.

        I appreciate the help.
