    CCM Feedneck...Loose?

I just put a No-Pro feedneck on my ULE bodied Emag. Tried to put my early HaloB in it. Darn thing is like a hot dog in a hallway. I have to wrap the Halo's neck with electrical tape to even come close to tightening up?!?

Note, the Halo was "fitted" to the ULE feedneck many moons ago. Will a new set of shells "fix" this? Are these CCM feenecks just loose? do they fit a different hopper system?

Rekon I should've left well enough alone

My CCM fit's a HALO just fine, and a VLocity, revy, egg, pulse.

    It's your hopper.

The normal ULE neck is tiny. If you fitted the hopper to one, it's much smaller than normal. I agree, it's your hopper. Get new shells and you will be all set.

tell you the truth i had a hell of a time sanding my halo to fit my no-pro from ccm lol. but i had to do alot more when i went back to the stock neck. you might as well kill 2 birds with one stone and get some suicide shells to avoid those hard cleanups.

I think you wanted a no-rise feedneck. With a no pro ccm even tells you that you'll have to cut your feedneck.

Thanks for the info Guys, like I said, I do have replacement shells ordered and on their way.

No, I wanted a No-Pro...I cut down my existing Halo shells to experiment on (the shells with the feedneck diameter that's been fitted for an ULE body). It worked out great. I used a Belt sander to remove almost 1/4" from the bottom of the Halo's feedneck...don't it look Killa?

                UPDATE,

Well, I got a new set of warrior speed shells. The clamp on the CCM feedneck doesn't actually squeeze the feedneck at all. I can tighten the heck out of it, to the point of stripping out the threads, but it won't retain the Halo.

The ID of the feedneck is 1.040" Could someone with a CCM feedneck and a set of calpiers kindly measure their's and report back?
