    Custom milling on a micromag?

I was just looking at a micromag body, and it seems to me that there is some extra meat here and there.

I'm getting the itch to hit it with the mill, and was wondering if anyone had ideas for milling, or if anyone has pics of custom milled micromag bodies (if it's ever been done before)?

      micro mill

Not real fancy, took off the gills on the sides, rounded out the front grooves a little more. Basically flat cuts but I think it looks nice. This is before my wife taught me how to take decent pictures....

One of the guys at Lone Wolf West has it if you ever want to take a look at it.

very nice styg, thanks! I was thinking about milling it flat like that, but I was worried about tolerances and maybe accidentally making it too thin.

I'm thinking maybe mill out everything between the farthest forward and farthest back slats, and taking off the dovetail rail on top...

        I really like that though...

want to be real fancy - mill some windows or curved gills all the way through the sides - you can cut into the chamber, doent hurt anythign on a mag.
