I have not paintballed in 5+ years HELP

Okay, so i have not paintballed in about 5 years or so. I have dusted off my old mag and was going to go in a few weeks. Went to my local paintball store to get some new things or upgrads for my mag and they told me that AGD was dead! I could not get any parts such ast a O ring kit. Looking on line and i am finding that Automags and parts are not easy to find. Hard to find are New twist lock barrels. So can anyone help me out??? whats going on?

    5 years huh?

you've missed out on the greatest things that AGD has brought us.

Intelliframe - 2 finger trigger frame made by AGD
ULE body - Ultra light engineering, aluminum body with cocker threads
ULE trigger - makes for one hella light trigger pull
X-valve - An aluminum ReTro valve

look around on AO man, lots of people are making awesome mags, they are better than ever, even though AGD isn't producing new products, they are making what they have been making the past few years, there are a few independent companys on AO producing new things for the mag.

a few people are building their own pnumatic mags, think of a miniture 3 way moving a miniture ram that pushes the sear.

People are putting all sorts of Electronic frames on mags, check out "the workshop" forum on here someone put a EGO from on a mag and it rips.

o-ring kits are still availiable through AGD, tuna, the magsmith or any other AGD dealer.

good luck getting back on the field man. enjoy...

A ULE body takes cocker threaded barrels, and the feedneck and detents are angel threaded, so you have a wide choice of barrels/feednecks.

but where's the fun in that

something about a classic mag just makes sense.. love my setup with a Dye 8" stainless hardchrome.

and if i get lucky, it'll be warped soon too

The only truth in that is it is hard to find NEW twistlock barrels. It is hard to find parts kits etc in stores since you can only really get that stuff from AGD or the speacialists who cater to AO Tunamart or themagsmith. AGD is still going strong.

This is my first year back after a 5 year leave also. I know when i started buying stuff for my mag i figured i would have choices coming out of my....ears....but it was harder to find stuff than i thought. Still, it makes it fun. Who really wants to go to www.________.com and find everything they need for cheap anyway?!

Anymore with pnuemags widely known and available you really have your run of triggers/frames.

Personally I like the shocker frame so I slapped one on. You could realistically do it with most frames, if you have the patience/skill/luck.

From what I understand, angel frames could be swapped out for logics.

www.airgun.com ule bodies, twist lock barrels, any other random things you may need

www.actionvillage.com go to gun parts and upgrades and then automags, for a classic mag a parts kit is like 11 bucks, 17 for an rt

those are the two sites that are good to know. Other than that there's the mag smith and tunaman, you can search them on google, cause i'm too tired to make sure i remember the urls.
