AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
This is a good example of what NOT to do to a mag. Sorry for the harsh critique, but if I remember way back when I used to come here often, the biggest complaint about the emag was that gigantic blocky battery box in the front of it. Does anyone like it?
Concept gets an A, but the execution gets a F
back to the drawing board...
ARE you asking in general if anyone likes the emag battery pack or if anyone likes my design
OK about the emag comment, I beleive the biggest complaints with an emag was one the weight issue that was caused by the how heavy the battery it self is so we eliminate the battery and we are now lighter
the other reason some people dis like the emag lowers in general is the actual trigger frame part of the emag . They have that hump that some do not like so we took it out and added a more styllish frame.
Also you dont need to add any pneumatics or electronics for this mechanical frame to work there for again it is lighter. But as we know you can put all the goodies you want in there and you still dont have the extra weight from the emag battery. We also tried to eliminate the blocky look to the front by making it all one piece
Thank you for your critique it is not harsh and i like your honesty, just starting off the thread with "This is a good example of what NOT to do to a mag" is alittle ignorant considering what you can do with this.
I would agree with jay...people don't care for the weight of the Emag, not the battery pack. I like the pack because it acts like an integrated foregrip. In fact, it must have been such a good design the Mini has the same setup.
I love the new products for Mags that jay is taking the time and effort to create. If you don't don't seem to like that is okay...everyone is entitled to their own opinion...but if you think you can do better just go ahead and knock yourself out and present us with another option besides this product.
And don't knock the manufacturer who spends his own time and money creating something for a product that I hope you own. Because I don't see too many other options out there that can do what jay's products are advertising and doing

I found it very ironic that the AGD world ULE'd the hump off, and then the rest of the world fell in love with TonTon GripFrames, even putting that design on IONs...
I like the design, and notice someone said "acrylic grips" ??? Who is making those?

Cyberave68 makes all my panels for me He has many options to choose from
these frames with be offered with
red,Blue or clear ackrillic panels with either a smooth finish or his tribal design
Also all aluminun either smooth or tribal
So could someone say take they're e-mag guts, out them into this frame and work just as well?
no Bigman this will not accomadate emag parts, the emag board, trigger internals
and battery will not fit. this Mechanical frame was designed with pneumags and electro pneumag conversions in mind as for me I will have one mech and one EP (in the works)
