A few ramblings and questions about ULE vs RT

I just put on my mech frame last week from having a hyperframe, and haven't been to the chrono yet. My first experiance with the ULT over the RT mags I have owned in the past.

I cannot really decide if I like the ULT over the old RT trigger. I can't seem to get a really soft feel on the ULE. I have it shimmed as much as it will actually allow me to get it into the ULE body w/o having to loosen the trigger screw. It is MUCH lighter than the RT trigger, but not nearly as walkable as some people here make it out to be.

So what I have noticed is that the ULT has a very mild reactive feel to it, but nothing that allows me to get the "bounce" and higher ROF from it vs the RT on/off.
I had read somewhere something that I hadn't heard, and figure it to be nonsense, but why or would having an AM/MM rail have any effect on the reactivity vs using an RTP rail?
Even with my RT trigger I am having a hard time finding the sweet spot and I use a classic rail....

Anyway, on to the next question. Do ULT'ed markers require the same chrono procedure that the RT does? (pull, hold, release quickly, pull,hold..)

The ULT was designed to take the reactivity out of the RT valves if properly tuned. a "runaway" ULT is not tuned to the factory specs so from what I'm reading, you're finding that.

The chrono procedure should be identical for any RT style valve. on/off assembly is irrevelant.

    Hope that helps a little

you need to put about 10 cases of paint through the ULT before it's fully broken in. mine wasn't walkable when i first installed it, now it's walkable.

The ULT isn't new. It was installed with the Hyperframe.
