Halo is going to be hating that - considerring feeding 35 BPS really doesnt serve a purpose since you are capped at 15 in tourneys, and 20 bps semi auto ( which most peopel can not pull leagally )

I think we won't be seeing much of this loader for a good while. VL still has a crap load of Evolution and Revvy loaders out in the market and I think they don't wanna cut themselves off at the knees.

Ok, I got the loaders today and here are my impressions so far:

1. Out of the box, the loader seems to be built very sturdy. It should be able to take a lot of abuse without problems. The shell seems to be strong (matte finish), does not seem as brittle and fragile as the Evolution 2 (I have one to compare with). The feedneck is one piece and is pretty thick. This one would be hard to crack.

2. To change the battery (only one is necessary), 3 screws must be removed to take the top off the base. So if the battery goes out during a game (this model does not have a low battery warning), it will not be a quick swap. But with a screw driver handy, the battery can be changed out in less than a minute. When the top shell is taken off to change the battery, it will give easy access to clean any breaks.

3. The weight is just slightly lighter than the Evolution 2. With a the hopper full of balls, it is still pretty heafty.

4. The lid is a snap shut type. No gimmicks here. It closes tight and works well.

5. The feeding speed is probably just as fast as advertised. The loader can spit out paintballs with authority. I cannot verify the BPS, but I don't think that I can out trigger it.

6. This is where I have some concerns. This basic loader is a continuous force feed. When the loader is on, the blade is constantly turning even when the marker is not firing. It makes high pitched gear whine sound...and is fairly loud. I am sure that if you are trying to sneak up on someone with the loader on, the sound would give you away. But the good thing is that the on/off button is fairly large and easy to push. So you can turn off the loader when sneaking, but quickly turn it on when heavy fire is necessary.

I don't know how I feel about the loader yet (mostly because of the constantly-on blade). Are there other constantly on loaders like this? And do they hinder performance during an actual game?

I will not be able to use it in a game until next Sat (5/19). But I may load it up and shoot a hopper or so in my backyard this weekend. Please let me know if you have any specific questions.

This new loader borrows the velocities technology but it seems they have dumbed it down to one tension mode. It might drain your battery within one or 2 days of play. It's big brother is used by a lot of tournament teams.

it has the looks of a Vlocity and the feed style of a revvy, I don't like the constant force thing though, my revvy does that and I can't stand it myself. even if it is just a flick of the switch its still a pain. if they managed to make one that didn't feed constantly I might consider picking one up!

They have a Eye Force model that will turn on/off automatically. But that one is a little more expensive. I don't think they've released a price yet.

Went out and picked up a "continuos" Force model at Joes for $30. Did not know it did not have eyes, I would not have even bothered...but I decided to try it out anyway. It is way too loud to use in woodsball, and I don't know how long the single 9v is going to last. I have repackages it, and will return it. Will try the "eye" model when I see it on the shelf.

What are the actual BPS numbers of either hopper? VL's site and catalog say 2 different things. Site says 18 and 20bps, and the 07' Catalog says 15 and 15bps per each.

On the box it says 18BPS. I used the loader yesterday in both woodsball and speedball games and here are my impressions. My intital concern of the constant force being too loud is no longer a concern. I noticed that during the woodsball games, there are so much sound and activity from other players that the sound from the hopper cannot be noticed by others. But if you are really in a sniping mode and need absolute silence, the hopper can be turned off and on quickly by pushing a button. I was able to turn it back on quickly while shooting the marker. And on the speedball games, the sound was definitely not an issue. The loader is plenty fast to keep up with my fingers on the X valve. And the battery consumption seems to be holding up well. The single 9V battery was previously used in another hopper for 2 days worth of games and still the VL Force hopper has not drained the battery yet. All in all, I am happy with the hopper.

May I also inquire what Marker you were using it with? Single/Double Triggered... Walkable, and general BPS est. ?

I used the loader with a couple of different markers:

1. Standard Automag with CF single trigger frame
2. RT Pro ULE with X valve and Intelliframe blade trigger

I have no idea what the general BPS of the markers are with me shooting them. I know what they are capable of in the right hands. But the loader seems plenty fast.

I don't have either one of those loaders. But maybe I can go to a store use their Halos as models. Also, the Eye-Force loaders are a lot more expensive. I think that Xtreme has them for $70. For that price, you could get a Evolution 3 that feeds at 23 bps.

They seriously jacked the price then... The eye-Force direct from Viewloaders site says $49.99
