my pro-shops got em. my brother is going to be picking one up next time he goes paintballing. hes one of those guys that buys an $800 marker and goes once every couple months, he buys new gear every time he plays. the mask will be next, personally i think its pretty cool looking, but a little goofy unless youve got the full suit. great idea though, but for $140 ill pass.

      It's a V-force Vantage with a helmet on it.

the eye tactical is the vantage? from my understanding they are using just the lens from the grill mask i think with anti fog coat from the profiler lens but is the mask the same? i dont know..

no, they shot it with a 12ga. shotgun from like 28 feet away and it didnt penetrate the lens...doesnt sound like vforce to me.

Nope...those are Vantages. You can tell because the lense is "flat" and not "bowed" as it would be on the profilers (those looks sort of bubble like) and the bottom of the mask, where your chin would be, is the same design as the Vantage. The profilers have "ridges" near the chin, and a steeper cut for the jaw line.

I suppose it was a bit forward of me to say the Vantages "suck" outright. In all reality there are very well made goggles, and take a hit just fine. For me though, they fit like total junk, and after playing paintball for 10 years these were the only goggles i ever wanted to take off while playing. ( id didnt take them off, of course) but for me they are that uncomfortable.

I will say they dont fog at all.

I have not used the vantage as of yet but i have used the profiler and like it... a lot actualy leaning towrds buying one my current custom job is gettign ready to fall apart...

But your right open http://www.skill.com.pl/shop/images/...eld_grn_sh.jpg in one window and http://www.eyetactical.com/images/pr...110_header.jpg in another the only difrence is the top section of the eyetactical is molded to the helmet.

Kind of angers me that the vantage http://www.compulsivepaintball.com/i...Black&ic=15621 is aorund 30 bucks retail when you gotta pay 100+ for the same mask just paying 100+ more for the helmet... i dont get it...

Looks like they are pretty tough...

These are the ones to have if you are gonna get shot in the face with a 12 gauge at 40 feet!

Looks pretty much exactly the same as my setup. I have a plastic version of a kevlar helmet with a modified old JT mask. Actually gives great protection and is comfortable. No complaints here, havnt gotten too hot in it. (no hotter than i would get wearing a normal hat and mask)
