    Micromag milling attempt #2

Second attempt, and it turned out awesome!

Massive props to Jay for supplying the bodies! It still needs some polishing and finishing touches, but I think it turned out pretty darn good. If anyone has tips on polishing, please post here or PM me, by the way.

Since I know you'll want pics, here they are:

I milled the sides down, took the dovetail off the top, cut a vertical notch in the top and on the bottom under the valve, and shave off a decent amount under the valve area, as well.

Hey, I tried to be original...

Not much you can do with just a 2-axis mill though.

for polishing start with a 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper, then step it up to a 800, then a 1000 from there hit it with a buffing wheel with #6 compound. prepare to get messy, but if done right, mirror finish. i can count my eyelashes in my cocker that i polished.

looks awesome, my only question is with the logic frame, why not mount the LPR inside and go for the ultimate stealth setup? (there is no wrong answer, I was just wondering )

Logic Frames rule . I have one on my Micro as well and I love how tight the setup feels but anways looks great and keep us updated on the progress.

/I agree guys, Logic frames are awesome! There's so much room, I'm gonna have a field day deciding just how to set it up. Planning on going the Ion board route at this point...
