    Nice....................

    Emag Frame on a Diet!

What's it weigh all assembled minus the tank and asa?

Would like to see a comparison before and after the milling to show the weight savings.

also the body was milled, if you look closely the middle tear drop on the side was milled to a nice smooth "swoop" down the side of the body

                          exactly what tuna said.

When Jared milled this, we had to keep it somewhat a secret from Tom. When Kayle first saw it at IAO 2 years ago, he also recommended that Tom didn't see this. If there was unnecessary metal, it was cut off. The rail, weights next to nothing. I will see if I can get Todd to take some detailed pictures, as I can't find the ones I had before I traded it to him. The gripframe milling is similar to the ULE milling Tuna does, but Jared took it a few steps further. Again, anything we didnt feel needed to be there, was cut.

you will also notice that the front of the ule body is cut, as well as the back of the battery pack. there was a bunch of metal taken off this, and as much as I hate to admit it, I hated to see this gun leave my posession. I know that its in good hands with Todd though, and I hope he treats it well.

how much weaker does it make it. i milled mine off too. but i did it because the way my trigger sits ( one of the original fireblades) my fingers would hit the guard and sow me down.

Now that i think about it the rail could have prob gotten more milling. Jay (Fireblade) has done a number of emags with windows cut in the rail and stuff. A green and black one as well as the one pictured below (maybe even more).
