Why do guys change their phone numbers so often?

I tell you, it's crazy. Our order-entry system has one slot for the phone number within the order, and if the phone number gets changed, I have to go deep into a whole other menu to make the change stick. What is with you guys? People placed an order two weeks ago have a different phone number this week. It happens all the time. I even had one guy who placed two orders the SAME DAY with two different phone numbers!

What do you do, buy a new throwaway cell phone every week or two?

This is why major companies pay hundres to tens of thousands of dollars to append the latest phone numbers to the customers in their database through companies such as www.phonematch.com
