    Retro vs X valves

What are the differances between a Retro Valve and an X valve? I see Retros sell for $150 while the Xs move for $200+.

They are the same internally/how they work. Retro is half ss half alum while xvalve are all alum. Retro cannot accept a ult while the Xvalve can.

Professor Rogue, how can one tell which can accept a ULT and which can not?

Read: I want to get another valve and I don't care about weight just functionality.
