Guns that hold their Value well...

So I'm done with school and as I sit in my empty dorm room awaiting checkout next week, I was thinking...

What guns tend to hold their value on the used market best and which are the worst? Obviously rare or disontinued sought after guns are excluded.

The first that come to mind for me are phantoms (well) and angels (poor).
    What do you guys think?

Realatively speaking, mags hold their value very well.. especially Xmags.

      Palmers guns - ALWAYS good
      Milled Vikings - good
      Egos - for now good
      Sniper pumps - good
06 Borgs - for now good

      IONS - always bad
      Any SP gun - bad
      Angels - bad

        Good:
        XMAGS
        DC Machined Markers
Truly unique Anos and platings (Not just a different color but something exotic)
I forsee the 07 Ego as holding its value
Stock Shockers (casj wise they drop about 150-200 and hover)

not to point but, the not so hots
Older Egos are going down rapidly
        Older borgs
        DM3/4/ and now 5/C
pl egos (SL66 was 1800 now around 1k-1.1k)
pl shockers (drop about down to 50%)

a stock Ion only drops about 30% then hovers, however upgrades will get you almost no extra money.

I would have to disagree on mags in general. Proclassics and minimags are $250 new and you'd be lucky if you got more than $180 for a stock mag. Emags have plummeted in the last year or so too. Xmags only hold thier value cause they're discontinued and Atach keeps supply down creating artificial demand.

I would say vikings are good, even though they're still $900ish new for unmilled leftovers and the resale for unmilled is like $450. You can buy used AKA, have DC mill it, then turn it around the next day for about the same it cost you.

Thats how i got my first emag.

I bought a NIB RTP when they came out and the parts were still more than a whole marker.

Parted it all, and made a couple hundered.

My vike was $300used, the milling cost me $300, and the anodize around $175. so about $775ish out of pocket, which is what you commonly see in BST. But i guess you make a good point on the mag front. I'm kind of bitter cause I have a nice Classic I'd like to sell soon, but note for $140 or whatever people sell them for.

                        Here you go:

                        Buy semi autocockers.

                        Remove pneumatics.

                        Sell pneumatics.

                        Apply CCM pump kit.

Sell for 2x the purchase price.
