    SpecOps brings back the 114 / 4500

    If N E 1 cares, SpecOps is now stocking the 114 / 4500's.

Just found it on their site.
I thought they were gone for good.

I ran one on my cocker (yes, on gun setup) back when we used to play renagade ball.

I could shoot all weekend on one fill.

The local shop lovingly nicknamed it "The Iron Lung" after their booster broke trying to fill it to 4500.

ongun nitroduck 114/4500 Naval Brass Megareg on a classic RT with a drop forward, 300 round agitated hopper, and a Due Stainless 14" barrel.

Carried it for the whole weekend at a 2 day event, what was I thinking!

So in other words, big freakin machine gun... and probably a bunch of ammo and gear too huh? That can be pretty rugged I bet. Have you ever seen a Reaper Zack? It's basically the upper reciever of an M4 machined to accept an AGD X-valve... so sick. A little too real just about. It'd fit in great at a milsim event but as a weekend warrior it'd scare the spectating parents stiff.

I wanna take one of those 114/4500 bottles and put it on my Dynaflow... that'd be nice. Well that or a 88, but does an 88 hold a noticably larger volume than say a 68? Haven't used my dynaflow 68 system at the field yet but I with my old system I always got tired of getting fills every 500 rounds or so. Plus I like to rapid fire so I try to top off once I'm below 2k. Anyone know how I can get a new bottle (88 or bigger) without a reg for cheap?

Yeah its not the real big boy but its a big machine gun fires a .223. I don't carry most of my ammo but enough of it to make the gun damn heavy. So a 114 cu in tank and a marker with a full hoppery to me is light. Could carry it all day long. I have never seen a reaper but it does sound very interesting.

Well, the old 90/45 does seem a little small. I guess I really do need this to replace the bottle on my megareg. I wonder where I can get just the bottle. On my viking this will be what....3+ cases

Try Tunaman I got a 90 from him a few years ago and it was very reasonably priced as I remember.

88's and 90's are usually around if you look for them. Its the 68/4500's that are tough to come by. I hate to say it, but look on PBN.

I use 90/4500 and a 88/4500 and running out of air is never an issue with me. I just picked up a 68/4500 dynaflow which i will use for those speedball games where there are fill stations right when you walk off the field.
