        Um why not ?

Why wouldnt you be able to buy a classic valve from the people that make them ???
They arent listed on the site so you will have to call or email the, thats all.

But I would almost be willing to bet Tunaman would get you a better deal
( thats if you can get him to respond to a PM or an email ) .
He stays pretty busy fixing AO'ers messes.

It wouldn't surprise me if a new classic vlave is almost as much as an x valve...

            More Info

I'll bet you could find something on Ebay, get a parts kit for $20.00 and fix it up. Lemme poke around a bit for you:

Here's one, but shipping seems steep:

            http://cgi.ebay.com/68-Automag-Valve...QQcmdZViewItem

Here's one that looks brand new, but WOW! Shipping is horrendous.

            http://cgi.ebay.com/68-Automag-Class...QQcmdZViewItem

            Here's probably your best bet:

            http://cgi.ebay.com/NICE-68-AUTOMAG-...QQcmdZViewItem

            Good luck!

            Mr. Man

EDIT: I know you only asked about the valve and a couple of the links I gave you have full guns for sale. So what? Yank the valve, since that's all you want. You could even try to sell the parts you don't need and say something like: "A really excellent 68 Classic Automag body...all you need is a valve!"
