    Old worn bolts?

i was wondering. i have 2 bolts that have seen the end of their days due to serious wear where(<---haha funny) the sear catches the bolt. is there any way maybe to sand them down so that they're good to use again. the way i figure it, all you would need is a larger spacer if you sanded it down and used it again. seems kind of a waste to just throw them away.

You can't put a grind on the surface precise enough to revive the bolt. They're paper weights now.

This would be a good invention:
Make the edges of the bolt exchangable. The edges of my Venom Bolts are exchangabel - so I only need a new edge (I make the edges myself on a lathe) - not the complete bolt.
