I haven't been able to get over 250 fps on my Phantom, either with 12 grams or a 3.5 oz tank. Anyone have any suggestions on how to acheive higher fps?

I would highly recommend going to www.stockclasspaintball.com and joining their forum. Their guys are VERY knowledgable about Phantoms and they'll probably be able to fix you up in a jiffy.
I just joined this particular forum myself, but I joined it specifically because I have an Automag. Since this is an Automag forum, I'm not sure you'll get much help with a Phantom question, but maybe I'm wrong about that....
Seems to me it's kinda like joining a HarleyDavidson forum and asking questions about a Kawasaki.

You could also try M Carter Brown too lol...
You probably only need a heavier hammer spring, or a lighter valve spring, or a combination of both. It's your basic Nelson based pump gun.Comment

You have to put a high pressure spring in the valve if memory serves me correctly. Haven't messed with a phantom in a while but I remember that.Comment
