    My mostest newest gun

My newest mag. Exile body, Shadow rail, Logic UMF frame, DW Fibur barrel, DW 15 deg fore grip and Bocote grip panels.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I have been piecing this marker together for a while. Just got the UMF back from thefool for a gloss black finish. Also, the bocote grip panels are the first that I have made for the UMF, so, if anybody is interested, I will be able to make them. This marker has not seen the field or any paint or air yet. I just love the clean, simple lines of this marker.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.
WOW, sigs. Havent seen these in a while here on AO.

    Exile Bodies are so pretty.

Looks fantastic Kruger. Very clean, very dark. Though the grips seem a little bright for the overall appearance of the marker. Just my thoughts. Still looks beautiful. :)

Thanks guys. I made the grips for the frame for a customer here on the forums. This wood was what he wanted and I do like the Bocote very much. It almost looks like aged bone in person. But, my camera skills are not very good. And, I was lucky enough to be able to trade this customer out of the frame and the grips. The Bocote does sorta stand out against the overall look of the marker, but, I kinda like it that way. And, because there seems to be another run of these frames in the future, then I thought that it would be a good way to let people know that I can do these grips, and in any wood that I have. But, will have to limit it to flat panels for right now. I just love building these guns, they can be whatever you want them to be.

            sexeh!!

although I feel the carbon fiber theme conflicts with the wood theme, both awesome parts but I would go with CF grips and use those grips on another project :)

yah you should make a barrel out of wood that would go great with those grips. =]

BTW i know you do grips, but what all do you do? are they all wood grips? what frames do you make grips for? do you do anything for z or y grips?

Ever thought of doing a wooden foregrip?

                Wonder how that'd look...

I'd think you'd be up to wraparound grips by now, kruger. Do you have a router (the woodshop kind)?

Although you'll have a hard time getting people to pay you enough for your time. But a pair for yourself at least, you've been making these for a while now.

Let's see what kruger can make that we can't afford!

How about 4 years of tuition? No student loans allowed I cant afford that but I have made it And will have to do it again in another year. My youngest is a senior this year.

Me simple man. Me do simple thing. Me know limitation.

I do know my limitations and I am no artist. And it takes an artist to do the wrap grips. I dont have the patience to do those and I know it. As it stands right now, I am content doing my simple little flat grips. A foregrip, without a metal insert would not survive a day on the field. And, I dont have the machinery to bore out a wood foregrip. I can, however make matching panels for the Stormwalk front. They are flat, and simple, like me. I have also talked with a friend of mine and matching wood pump handle may be possible. And, that is about as far outside of flat that I am interested in venturing. As it stands right now, I make very little profit on the grips that I do make, I just enjoy making something that is a bit different, but within my skill level and within most people's budget.

I can make a set of grip panels for just about every marker except the Timmy and the Dye Ultra-lite frame. The Timmy has a funky screw pattern, the screws are too far apart. The wood would be thin and warp. The Dye Ultra-lite is not flat and curves in at the thumb area. Y and Z frames I have already done. Vertical frames I can also do. I havent taken the time to make one for the Airwalk yet, but I know that I can. Its not much different from the Vertical grips. Right now, I work with wood, but I also have another friend (yup, I have two friends) that has worked with Faux Granite, and casting grips in what amounts to stone, in any color also may be possible. But, that would take a while to set up if there is any interest in that. Carbon fiber has been done, so not interested in that.

Thanks for the comments guys. The automag is the only marker that I know of that is completely customizable. The ION tries to be a custom marker. But we are talking about the same difference as there is between a Chevy and a BMW. There is no comparison here.

i think it looks awesome. however i think it would look even better in a dust black on the marker.

I tend to agree with you and that may come to pass. But, all the parts were nice and black and shiny when I got them, 'cept for the UMF. But it is nice and shiny now. The next one may just be a dust of some color
