    Tac-One owners/airgun.com staff - help appreciated

    Hi

I`d like to order Taco-One (warp-right), but i have to clear some questions before, as i live in Russia and have to organize payment/delivery.

first: is there any info about weight/dimensions both netto and brutto?
second: will it work, if i will pay from my russian issued Visa classic and give address of my friend in States for delivery (he travells to Russia regulary and will help me avoid customs problems)?

PS: i`m sorry if this is wrong forum for my question, but it looked like it is :)

Hi, I just ordered my Tac-One about 2 weeks ago and I can answer some of your questions...

    1. the overall weight of the package they send it in is less than 5 pounds. I picked my box up off the counter and I was astonished at how light it actually was This will help because heavier boxes naturally mean more shipping costs

    2. YES it will work if you pay from your Russian Visa that is issued to YOU whose address is in Russia, as long as you fill out the Billing Information section as your own, and the Shipping information as the persons address that you wish to have the marker delivered to.

To make sure they know where you want the package to go, email this address

    [email protected]

and tell them that it is a gift for whomever and you want it billed to YOU but shipped to THEM. AGD customer service is the best and they are more than happy to meet your needs.

Also, if you order a warp right body, know that your hopper will be on the right side of your gun and you must use your left hand on the trigger. So I am assuming you are left handed otherwise having it get all the way to Russia and be incorrect wouldn't be fun at all.

Otherwise, have fun with your new marker and I would suggest tossing some extra money into it right away and get a second tube of gun lube and any other extra goodies that you want while you are at it. get the ULE trigger pull kit, absolutely amazing!!!!

Have fun with your new marker when you get it and post up some pictures of you and the new Mag!!!

    WELCOME TO THE MAG FAMILY!!!!!

      Thanks for reply, Joelus!

You were right - i meant warp left as i`m right-handed :) and plan to install Q-loader a little bit later. As far as i know Q can be installed on center-feed body, but side-feed looks more resonable.
Why do you recommend ULT-kit? I`m not really impressed by e-like light triggers. Or are there some other benefits?

PS: It would be very helpfull, if you could measure Tac-One`s box.

Yea the warp thing is a bit tricky but it helps to actually have a visual guide. just to be sure

Qloader is a good choice, low profile etc, sexy unit.

I would recommend the ULT because I personally have 1 extra shim installed in it so that I do not lose any reactivity of the trigger and the mech pull is noticeably lighter. I ordered the ULT with my marker but did not install it right away, I played an entire scenario game without it and it was fantastic, then I installed it and have been toying with it in my yard and it is freakin amazing, i outshoot my revvy so i think im gonna have to buy a new hopper in the near future.

you wont regret it, and if you dont like it, just pop it out and sell it to someone you know who has a mag! easy as pie.

as for the box my tac came in, it was 12 inches long, 9 inches wide, and 6 inches high. it came wrapped in bubble wrap and came with a bunch of instructions. the level 10 comes with a cd and all its extra shims and orings.

there she is as of right now, ive got an RPG sub zero clamping feedneck on the way (which i would also suggest to you because the tapered feedneck is ok but its just a pain to keep twisting on your hopper to get it to sit right) and ive also got all black dye stickies coming and an anodizing pen to black out all my silver screws, also i had to buy an on/off ASA because they are just that much easier to use and dont force you to drain the lines manually of air when removing your tank. just easier...

for the feedneck go to www.themagsmith.com

otherwise have fun and show us some pics when u get er!

Hm... this clamping feedneck seems to be usefull :)
I just thought: i`ll need 90` adapter for the hopper in case of warp-body (befor i lay may hands on Q). I`m curious if it is included with warp bodies or not.

As i see from your pictures you are still using stock barrel. Unfortunately paint comes here not so fresh and barrel systems with inserts (freaks for example) make really sense. I`ll have to sell ctock barrel probably (hope to find buyer here :) )

Well i think the 90 degree feedneck might work and it might not, i dunno how the gravity feed would feed sideways, you could always try it but the Q would def work wonders.

yeah the stock barrel for me works wonders but i guess its because we buy fresh in bulk, but if you were to go with a freak kit i would advise against it because many tests show that the bore sizes are actually different than what the manufacturer states, i will look for the link to that thread later and post it up here...

as for autococker threaded barrel kits go i thinkyou should definitely check out a Johnson & Johnson Edge kit, either the 4 piece kit or the Elite 9 piece kit and if you know another Mag owner you could split the fronts and backs up between the 2 to accomodate the difference in paint and then you could split the cost with him

talk to you later man, joelus
