Paintball groin injuries can be very serious. I recently witnessed a player being shot at point blank range and it left one of his boys bruised and swollen. The doctor says he was almost steralized, and while I think the last part could have been him exagerating, it was still a pretty serious injury.

The sad part is it wasn't even durring a game. Remember, all guns are always loaded!

What a wimp! The first game I EVER played, I took three to the groin. I put some ice on it, and played some more two games later. What is this "I think I just need a few days rest" BS? They're football players for crying out loud!

Funny story though. Makes me feel much more macho.

Thats why I wear protection. We had a very experienced teammate playing the night portion of a weekend game and got tagged in the crotch at point blank range. Did he have his cup? NO and had to go to the hospital. Guess what, he wears one now
