    Mag accuracy vid

YEY! My first vid of the emag. Many many more to come.

This was a few weeks ago right after i got my E-Mag in the mail. I didnt have a proper hopper yet, so i couldnt get any good vids of the speed. So, instead i got a cool video of me showing that mags are just as accurate as anything else.

The "bucket" as i call it is the little black hole towards the center of the screen. I know its not the best, but i figured you guys might get a kick outta it anyhow.

Next is a quick vid of this past weekend. Proper hopper this time, and an Evil Pipe kit. Shooting "ok" paint. The humidity was upwards of 95+%...super super muggy. About 90 something degrees to. Anyway, The last guy stuck his barrel out a bit too far towards the inside of the field. I ripped a few shots of and tagged him. No biggie. Still i though it was cool.

    NEW VIDEOS

Here are some new videos from last weekend.
It was a bit cooler. Only about 85*s in the sun. In the shade it was very nice, with a decent breeze. Shooting the left over paint from last week, so it isnt in the best condition. Still, after tuning the lvl 10 a bit better i only got one break, and i blame the hopper for that. The break was while shooting full auto at 15 bps w/ X-Mod. It was killer.

    Full Auto:

First attempt at walking. didnt go so smooth. Still, im going to blame it on teh fact that it was early in the day, and i hadnt even played yet.

Just rotate your screen from landscape to portrait mode.

OH! How i wish i could.

Actually, they are right side up when i watch them off my files on my computer.

I wonder if "quicktime" has anything to do with it....

sorry to take over, but i was wondering if the e-mag lowers really increase the rate of fire? or what is the REAL benefit of it?

Well, they dont "increase the rate of fire" per se'.

But they are what makes an E-Mag an electronic mag. So, in a sense, they DO let you fire faster than a mech (generally speaking).

They also give you modes depending on the software installed. I have X-Mod so i have semi, release, burst, full auto, psp, nxl, millenium and "hyper".
Emag lowers also allow me to choose either electro mode, or mech mode.

So, the Emag lowers do allow me to SHOOT faster. With the electronic trigger in semi i can achieve 13 bps consistantly. (meaning for a sustained period of fire).

I can also choose a mode, like full auto, and pull the trigger once, hold it, and shoot up to 31 bps until i either run out of paint or run out of air.

hum... yea i was just wondering if it was worth it, but i guess it isnt much of a necessary upgrade for my tastes.

anyways, nice video, and is that you in the second video?

                Yea, its me.

                LOL>

                Why, may i ask?

What are you looking to acheive with your mag? What are "your tastes"? Maybe its right and im just not explaining it correctly.

An X-Valve will allow your mag to shoot as fast as you could ever want. The electronic lowers will give you the ability to use the xvalve to shoot fast.

well, im more of a mechanical person, but it seems as if eveyrone has e-mag lowers for a reason: maybe more rate of fire. But i mean, does it REALLY help much more? with a classic valve, i can get around 8 bps, but thats it. my friend shoots ropes and i shoot pea strings. which is why i asked.

                    I see.

Well then my friend. What you need is simple. very very simple.

It doesnt sound like you need emag lowers. They may be more than what you're looking for. Plus they arent cheap.

What you need is an X-Valve. It will replace your classic valve, and you can do one of two things to it.
a: Put a ULT trigger kit on it. About $40 for the kit, and when combined with the XValve will allow a trigger pull ALMOST as light as an electro. If your hitting 8 bps with a classic, im sure you could tag 10 BPS with an XValve and ULT.

b: (and my fave) just slap the xvalve onto your gun, and get an adjustable reg. Jack up teh pressure 900psi+ works great. And learn to "sweet spot" your gun. By pulling the trigger just a tad and holding it in the sweet spot, your gun will go full auto and RIP. I mean RIP ropes of paint. And its ALL mechanical. It takes some time to get used to pulling just enough to sweet spot when you want it to go auto, but once you do......look out. GrooveyChicken on here has his mag set up like that. PM him and im sure he can give you some pointers. His mag rips (i know because he is my roomate). plus it WOWS all the electro guys.
You can still shoot semi auto by giving the trigger a full pull.

get an X-Valve, and learn to sweet spot. Your buddy may shoot ropes, but you'll shoot lasers.

hahahah good way to put it, and yea, i was going for the x-valves as a first upgrade rather than e-mag lowers, but its just every has one... thanks for the tip, i will certainly try it! i mean, i got to start mowing soon or else....

Actually, check back later this weekend. All these conversations about mag tech has prompted me to shoot a video of the various types of mags we have here at the house. Im going to try to get a good video of the speed easily achieved with an emag, and while im at it, ill shoot a video of my roomates all mech mag and x-valve. Ill get a video of it ripping. Check back on sunday.

So do you like your pipe kit? I just bought new 5 piece kit with 14" inch tip for $50 cause the price seemed right.

I got the same one! I saw it for $50 and i just snapped it up.

I'll let you know on the pipe kit after this weekend. Last weekend was amazingly humid....i think 95% humidity and 90+deg. weather, and it had been raining off and on all day. So the weather was REALLY muggy and wreaking havok on the paint.
Still, i like the fit and finish of the pipe kit. It looks great, and shot rather well last weekend. Shot grouping of about 4 inches at 20 yards or so. The accuracy video on top was done a few weekends ago, much dryer day, and a Dye something or else barrel. The paint was ALOT more consistant that day.

the pipe kit worked well for me so far. I would get a good string of paint, but then one would spin off an odd direction. For $50 though, im super happy. Again, ill be posting videos this weekend of an accuracy test and speed test just for fun.
