Theft @ Canobie Paintball, NH *reward*

Someone has taken the majority of the bunkers that comprised the Canobie Paintball X-Ball field (we came to the field with less than 10 bunkers on it, we started with about 40). It was unsure when this was taken, but it was done between last weekend and earliest, thursday of this past week. It was discovered this morning. Whomever took the bunkers knew what bunkers to take, and left the older sup-air bunkers as well as some of the other x-ball bunkers that had small leaks or holes in them.

This sucks for the sponsored teams that are up there because this was the only field that we had to play on. Not to mention the business Canobie loses due to not having that field up. We managed to put together something else with what little left over bunkers we had but it was a little disheartening to have come up there this weekend to find our field stolen.

The field is a Black/Orange X-Ball field (see below for picture). I wish I had a full list of what bunkers were missing but unfortunately we didn't take an inventory. More info on that may be available by contacting the field manager, Noam Liran at Canobie Paintball. (603) 893 1863 is the number to reach him, just ask for Noam. If you or anyone you know has any information regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact Noam. This is a real shady thing to do to someone, and we are still a little unsure what sort of person would do this considering they can't use it anywhere else around here publicly.

This is pretty much what all our bunkers looked like. Black/Orange with the X-Ball logo on them.

That sucks. I would check ebay since it would be pretty hard to disguise those bunkers....hmmmm...looks like a new field started up or hmmm...looks like our competition got a new x ball field. And I doubt someone has room in their back yard for it, not to mention word would get out fast.

Hopefully at the least the field gets back on ts feet quickly, the loss of revenue could end up being the biggest blow.

Ebay is the first place people think to look, I doubt right away that someone would nab it in order to sell it on there. Then again what idiot pulls off a stunt such as this?

Since you're somewhat close to Canada, contact local fields up there, along with others in and around your area. My wife lives in RI, and travels around in MA as well, she knows some people in to PB, and I'll pass along the word.

I too doubt that someone has the backyard that would be able to house a field that size. Personally I would think it would be broken apart and sold bunker by bunker. The thieves may keep a few for their own use.

Craigslist, Docs white board, POG, PHOG, PB Classifieds, and many online forums keep an eye out. I'm down here in Florida, but I'll keep my eye out online too for you guys.

Best of luck and sorry for your loss.

thats soooo low. what punks (for lack of 4 letter words)

but on the bright side. bunkers are pricey, a serious charge would be brought down on them in court...i dont think they'd get off easy.

Yeah but catching them would be tough, as mentioned earlier in the thread they were a standard set of bunkers and therefore could easily be hidden. Selling them individually to multiple buyers would reap optimal profit as well as lowering suspicion that it was an illegal dealing. However if caught that is over 3k worth the stuff I think. Making it a large claim I think so you could get some serious penalty on them in court.

It was a good majority of a $10,000 X-Ball field. There were about 8 bunkers they didn't take because they were trashed bunkers (ripped seams and hadn't been patched yet.)

situation definitely sucks, hurts the fields sponsored teams pretty badly, not to mention the revenue that canobie gets from other teams coming there to use the fields.

I don't. This is NH there are plenty of places where people own acres upon acres. My wife is from NH and I can count at least 10 people she know who live on 10+ acre parcels. So field regulars looking to set up a personal use field may not be too far from the case.

Whatever the case this sucks and is a pretty grimey thing to do. I hope you find those responsible and prosecute them to the fullest extent possible.

Stealing an Xball field seems like it would be a clumsy thing to do. Maybe some one saw/heard something that could be useful?
