    Micro-pneu, continued...

Well, finally set up the way I wanted and functioning! However, this run of micromag clone bodies doesn't accept most newer AC threaded barrels, so...the final setup probably won't be using a micro body. I have an Alpha rail and ULE body in the mail right now...

    On to the pics:

Sorry for the crummy pics, I was in a hurry...

Those threads just need to be retapped. They cocker threads, they just aren't cut deep enough. Anyone with a cocker tap should be able to set you up.

And yes, they were a run of micromag clone bodies, not done by PTP. Tolerances aren't the greatest

as long as the valve fits, you should just be able to ream the breach to size and have someone with a cocker tap chase that for you.

Good luck with that. I had no luck finding one when I was looking. If you do come across one please let me know.

You could just buy the cocker taps for like $60-$70 bucks somewhere. Probably be alot cheaper than chopping up a new body or buying the new rail/body, plus you could make profit back offering to tap bodies.

How many people need this done?

I will concider buying the tap and providing the service if enough people need it...

Hmm...already got the new body and rail on the way, and I pretty thoroughly destroyed the threads in this body anyway with an old barrel. Think I'll pass on buying one for now, but thanks guys!

Shorty, you would only need the bottoming tap to fix your problem it seems.
