    Brass vs. Super Glue

Since most paintball players can barely think, let alone read, I'll tell this story in pictures.

    E-Mag

    Problems:

Emag suffered from firing issues: shoot down, bolt stick, etc.

Replaced bolt, power tube tip and rebuilt/relubed flatline regulator. May try to salvage the bolt...

Problems found: Customer tried to re-glue foamie and used an excessive amount of super glue on the tip which in turn drip dried into the bolt itself. This, with regular use, caused lvl10 power tube tip to wear down excessively.

    Superglue wins - flawless victory

I can't even begin to describe some of the other problems with this marker. Maybe in another thread at another time.

On a side note, the ULE body for this marker was ordered in raw and they didn't put in the ring and clip, not a bright future for this one...

      Here's one for ya'

Best we can figure, is that the cut main spring was making the bolt rotate. That, + insane rates of fire via Xmod = accelerated/weird wearing.

I would deffinitely take a real close look at the inside of the bolt for the same thing I found. I wasn't even sure anything was there until I started picking away with a dental pick. In truth there should be nothing causing that much wear on the PTtip, even if the bolt is spinning. There would have to be something else way out of whack/tolerance to do that I'd imagine.

I just gained a whole new respect for Super Glue and level of stupidity that some people can stoop to. Thanks for the pictures guys.
