    Thought It Was An Xvalve

    Until I looked closer.

    Apparently someone cut the back off a classic RT body so they could use the classic RT valve with an RT Pro rail and body.

    ha...i never made the connection. i just saw it was an rt classic valve...completely glosssed over the front!

      Seen it a few times (and the opposite). Pretty unusual though.

        Hmmmmm,....interesting ,.....

        Why would someone go through all that trouble ,(ruining the classic RT body)to end up having a twist-lock body anyway ?
        I can sort of understand, if converting to a ULE

          Looks to me like they used an emag body, and made a spacer to fit the valve in.

            Now that I'm looking at it again, looks like an RT Pro body with a classic RT rail and valve.

            Quite a contraption.

              Maybe the front end of the classic body was mangled/crushed (I've seen those) or he wanted lighter weight?

              I've seen more people cut RT bodies to use with classic or x-valves. Maybe he did that and kept the leftovers to make this?
