a "stock AutoMag" was just received by me completing a sale from trxtr to myself.
I'm of mixed feelings about the end result of the trade and kind of feel as though the marker was misrepresented.
exchange between trxtr and myself via PM after my post in his B/S/T/ thread:
and that was on 09-12-2007, 09:57 PM
the package arrived at my local post office on 09/24/2007, i had to wait till today to pick it up as there was an additional $19.31 duty being charged.
So I paid trxtr $94.00 and the customs people added $19.31, so the marker cost me $113.31 total.
the duty is not trxtr's fault that's just life.
Still an $85.00 gun has cost me $113.31.
NOW,
when I open the box, I get a bit of a surprise,
1) the wear through out the marker is heavy
2) the trigger guard is broken and the safety pin is missing (no big deal I'm not going to be using it for this project)
3) the "stock AutoMag" is actually a "RENTAL GUN" i was expecting a Classic Valve, I have received a "RENTAL VALVE"
point #3 is the only one that really bothers me.
the whole purpose for buying this gun was to get a "CLASSIC VALVE" for use in my WOOD RIFLE STOCK projects.
I was not told that this was a RENTAL GUN with a RENTAL VALVE,
so I feel that the sale was at least misrepresented.
I don't know if anything can be done,
I just see any action costing me more money.

I give this sale/purchase a 4 out of 10.
sorry but that's how I feel.
