New Ripper Bodies, Milling Services, And Slugs

the body is an original chord design....we will find a new name for it soon. the feedtube goes to Madmarx. I will be working on some kind of feedtube to go with the body sometime. Its not going to be a clamping one though. It may be just a lathe part or we might get all fancy and do some 4 axis 3D milling on it. I dont know yet. the more time we put into it the more it will cost.

I will be a one man show for the next few weeks. My friend is on vacation and i will be going on vacation in 2 weeks. He will take over milling bodies if we get any more orders.

we are in the process of finding someone local to polish our bodies. I like to keep things local so we dont need to ship everything out. shipping really adds up.

This is just a shot in the dark,.... but by any chance can you make one take the twist lock barrel system that classic AGD markers have?

Or maybe some "other" type of thread. Like an NXT/Impulse thread?

I like being able to get the barrel off in 3 turns. Just a preference,.....

as far as making a twist lock body. I have no idea if it would be possilbe with the angel feed tube. as long as the tube does not hit the barrel. we can do anything its just a matter of if your willing to spend the money.
the only problem i see with making a twist lock body is the fact that i screw my fixture into the autococker barrel threads. the body would need to be machined with the thread in it and then modified.

Dont have much time to do that kind of stuff right now. I would like to make a feed tube and then a 3D machined rail. I have no idea when the rail is going to happen. If it does i will be making the rails from scratch.

Hmmm... Anychance you could make slug rails??? I bet alot of people would love to have AGD spec slug rails... That is, if people agreed to mill them again.

And a rail to match that body sounds killer.

as for deadlywind milling my rails for use with the karta...I doubt that will ever happen. Who ever designed it has the final say in everything with the karta i guess and they only will do AGD parts.

New...polishing option and new anodized colors!!!

I have located someone to polish bodies for $30 each and all my anodizing work will be going to www.anodizemymarker.com. They have allot of color choices and fast turn around times.

I wasnt just talking about deadly wind. Several rails arnt offered anymore because no one has slugs. My understanding is that they would have to be made (agd) in an order of 2000+. Rogue said he would be interested in half of a 2000+ order of slugs.
