How about the one for order #11281 with one extra detent? A couple of you, that ordered two or more additional detents, I had to drop that back to just the one supplied with the adapter, and threw in some stickers to make up the extra buck or two. If that's not kosher, just let me know and we'll work something out.
Sorry about that, I thought I had enough, but no biggie. They're standard Spyder/Intimidator detents; most stores'll have 'em on hand so it's not like I'm the only supplier.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but does anyone know if Doc is still shipping these? He still lists them on his website and accepted my PayPal payment for one nearly 2-months ago.
I ordered one on JUNE 08, but have not received shipment nor any communications from him regarding status after several e-mails. Looks like his last post on this site was back in February.
Wonder if I'll ever see my barrel adapter (or $45.00) again...Comment

Dude, I ordered one of these adapters in December of '06. I emailed Doc about it a while back, and he asked me for the paypal transaction number, so I gave it to him...and then I never heard from him again. I sent him a couple of emails, asking if he received my number, status of my part, etc...no reply. I have yet to see a barrel adapter. It has been so long ago, I have pretty much given up on ever getting an adapter, and have chalked it up as a loss. I won't be sending Doc any more of my money...Originally posted by FriscoMikey

Welcome to Doc's world. He constantly late on filling orders or not sending them at all unless a paypal action is taking against him. The comical thing about it a few months back he posted an ad on how he was now taking on work, he was behind on bills and how people still owed him money from paypal. I must have caught him just when he got his recent cnc run in. I ordered one and it showed up two weeks later. The outer diameter was too big for my mag body and I managed to get it sanded down 2 mils to fit (not easy). I ramped and polished the edges as well. Then I discovered that the inner bore was sub 0.684 diameter. I sent it back to him since it was useless to me that way. He bored it out and sent it back in another couple weeks.
Not only did I get good service from Doc on it twice, but now it is seriously custom fit. It reminds me of custom 45 auto barrels "not a drop in, some fitting required". I think if you follow his website you can tell a little more about when he is working and has some stock. Maybe not accurately, but it helps when he announces a fresh batch.Comment

I ordered an adapter off his website and he mailed it out same day, but he had them in stock.
It arrived and it fits well within my s/s powerfeed body.
I managed to lose the detent before I was able to shoot any paint through it though, so I had to switch back to twist-lock for the day. D'oh. Picking up some more detents today hopefully.
I'm slightly concerned about the interior diameter. I know just bought a Dye Furious with a .689 back and you can see the lip of the barrel inside the adapter when they're screwed together. I know for sure the adapter is between .690 and .693 because I screwed in a .693 back and it looked like it was either flush with the adapter or wider, I couldn't really tell and I couldn't reach a finger in far enough to feel it.
Will shooting paint across that little lip cause it to break? I would think that EVERY type of barrel has this problem on any gun unless it's like a twistlock and incorporates the breech into the barrel so it's seamless.
Anyway, my transaction with Doc was fine. I sent some follow-up email to his store asking these questions and haven't gotten a response though. There was a message on the site about him taking a vacation or something. Can't begrudge a man his vacation.Comment
