Yeah.. I'll start holding my breath now.. =/. Like I said, I do believe Garf at his word that he will deliver these, but I refuse to believe any time-line or date he gives until he lives up to one. I do find it odd that so many have accepted this new date without him EVER contacting us and explaining why he missed the date he promised us over the phone. Sorry to be a pessimist, but as the saying goes, "fool me once, shame on you.. fool me twice, shame on me".

I like your sayingOriginally posted by 93civiccpe"fool me once, shame on you.. fool me twice, shame on me".
I believe we have been led astray about status and dates in this dealing and that is shame on him. If any of us should every order another item from him in the future and have issues then shame on us because we have been here before. I don't think he'll ever be able to do another Pre-Order on AO again.
Dates at this point really have no meaning and just add fuel to the fire on the forums. Real status updates would be nice but the last two status updates I have received both stated the frames are going out for anodizing soon so which is it. The only thing I can see that would help Garth and his image at this point is to post bi-weekly pictures of the items and how things are progressing.
I think jade_monkey07 has the right idea.Originally posted by jade_monkey07"im going to forget about this then, unsubscribe from this thread. and maybe someday ill get a nice package in the mail."
For me this is a done deal, If I get a frame GREAT I will be truely excited; if no frame ever shows, I am out some cash and have learned a valuable lesson for the dollar spent. To look at this any other way is just going to drive you crazy. At this point the money is gone, the question is will we get a frame. Call me naive but I'm still holding out hope for a frame.

Yea the big deal was him being a perfectionist and trying to figure out what the best combo between triggers, actuators, and rams was. He should have just picked one freaking combo. If he had not been so choosey, we would have had our frames by now. But at least the frames are finally being machined and sent to anno.Comment

I'll try to stop playing devil's advocate here but you actually believed that excuse? Last time he missed a deadline it was because he had to design a way to depress the on/off pin to remove the valve. There was no talk about different components or designs. It was just that "one last missed detail".
Because of that, I questioned him repeatedly on what the differences in the design were and what they were doing and how they were doing it. I wanted to know what their plan was to get this completed, and what work was really left to be done. In the end I came to the conclusion that was just a convenient excuse for another missed deadline. Hopefully he has these close to complete, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see another missed deadline. It's par for the course now.Comment

Last time he missed the deadline I was informed it was because they had several different versions of several of the components that I mentioned before. They were testing them out in every combination possible to see which works best.Originally posted by 93civiccpeI'll try to stop playing devil's advocate here but you actually believed that excuse? Who cares?
We have a new date.
All we can do is wait.
Hashing out what did or did not cause the last delay doesn't matter.
If this next date is missed it won't matter why. Because G-Force will be burned at the stake.
So lets just sit back and hope for the best.Comment

Me too. I'm just tired of looking at the incomplete mag sitting next to my other mag. It makes me sad that it doesn't have a frame lol.Comment
