AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
i said that we could discuss this face to face,
this is because I'm not hiding from anyone.
you see a threat, that's your issue.
not make it to 40...
uh... I'm 42.
and if you play Stairway to Heaven backward you can bugger up your turntable....
actually I'm enjoying the debate, haven't had a really good one in years.
and while I'm not currently under water, i do have a Paralyzed Left arm from a Motorcycle crash back in 1988, so yes i know how serious life can get.
heres proof of my injury:
garf said that all decisions are made, frames are back from anno and are being assembled and then tested.
they should start going out early next week , however they are being done in no certain order, so some that ordered late may get them first and vice versa.
he also said the latest configuration allows for a few small LPR regulators, should fit the tickler, the smallest aka reg, and palmer micro rock though dont hold me to that.
he said the only reason he finished it this soon was due to pressure and if it were up to him he would have continued testing and fine tuning.....
If he would have been giving regular updates with details like coolhand did with his pre order I wouldnt care as much. But we havnt heard ANYTHING at all except the same bs over and over. If theres a problem with the frames MAKE IT REAL TO US. tell us what it is, what your doing to fix it. Too late for that!
If he ships something sub-par from what we expected. Then its up to us, to do what mag owners do best, and make it better!
just read through this whole thread. I really feel bad for you guys. When I made my v2 Ion frames, I got pressured into taking preorders, and of course production ran WAY longer than I ever expected, but atleast everyone got their frames, and those who had sold their guns before getting the frames turned around and sold the frames for twice what they paid.
also, on a side note, why does this picture:
make me think that it will be soon followed by this one:
under Canadian Business Law
the advertised warranty begins at the date of the products delivery to the end user.
so if you have a business and purchased the product for the purpose of resale the warranty does not begin until the date your customer receives the product.
if you are the end user, the date you receive the product is the start date of your warranty.
G-Force advertised a 1 year warranty and they are responsible for just that;
up to the cost of a 100% replacement.
so the most you could get if there is a problem is your money back or a new frame...
but i wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a new frame.
this product was advertised long before it was ready to go to market.
