We all know that you and your elves have been busy making toys for the other kids on your list, but we would like something too. We are not asking for much, but we are asking for something.

Can we get a Christmas day gift from you?

Maybe a little picture, a diagram, a blueprint, something? We promise to be good for the rest of the time and not ask for much. We will clean our rooms, take out the garbage, brush our teeth, and even play nice with our siblings and the kids at school(work).

What prioritizing spending and holding back? Yes that is bad if you and all the other people trying to live on a budget would just go back to spending more than you make recklessly then the economy would get better and we could all go back to worry free luxury . . .

Er wait if you spend more than you make and then can't afford your mortgage . . . hmm ok I guess it is ok for you to hold back. But only a little or the world may come to an end.

Okay, let me see if I can boil the pertinent issues down to one post:

I am very happy to announce bodies are in the actual design phase!!! Forest did a number of designs back in 2001 for what was going to be a 2003 Micromag, but unfortunately what we considered to be some of our best designs are a little too close to some one of a kind custom bodies that have been done in the past couple years. It just forces us to find something that is even more cutting edge. I will keep you guys posted!!!!

I can't tell you what it looks like yet because like I said earlier we need to change our originals so they don't look like what others have done. Good news is that I talked with my shop manager and between him and Forest they hope to have this done in time for the X-mas season. When I get more details I will keep you posted. Just to set it straight, I will NOT take any deposits until these are actually going into the machines for production. I WILL be making a limited run!!!! And that number will be based on what I have for Pre-Orders. There will be some extra but probably not a lot. I expect run time on the machines can be 3 to 4 weeks. Depends on the amount of detail (plus I always give room in case a machine goes down) Trust me when I say I do not want your money any sooner than necessary. The deposit is also so I get the commitment from you as a buyer. And I plan on getting pictures of parts while they are running in the machine to post for you guys so you can see progress. I have been working this project for over a year now and I want it to be a reality just like you!! By the way, I think I will keep the first one for myself!!! I think I deserve it.

Ok, We are all putting are heads together for a design. Russell who runs our production shop in Florida is joining AO so that he can talk with all of you as well. His screen name will be ZoomZ@ptp. He will also be the one who will post pictures of the progress we will be making once we get started. One of the big questions we have is how many prefer a woodsball style body (with or without rails for mounting items to it) and how many of you would prefer a more retro/sleek type body? Is there a place we can do a poll??

Ok Guys, we have chosen one persons design in here as a base and have done alterations to it. We have also taken some of the different suggestions and incorporated them as well. I don't want to spill any beans until the drawings are finished. I will see what I can do to move this along.

Well.....I have a Tac One headed to the machine shop, we need to check tolerences and such. We also wanted a new working gun to be able to test bodies with. Once the cad drawings are done we have some software that will make an image from the cad drawings to be able to give you guys a real good image of what the finished product will look like. From there I need to get it scheduled on the machines and right now we are building Mine simulators for the US Army and 37mm launchers for another customer (like 500 of them) Actually the launchers are pretty cool if anyone wants to check it out here is the link.

Sorry guys they are still working on the drawings, it's major crunch time at the shop right now. Trying to get some jobs done before the anodizer shuts down for the holidays. We will be building the bodies in January. And no I am not single!! lol

I miss anything? Not really any hard facts as Tracy has done a good job of showing us just enough to keep our attention.

its that size when a medium just doesnt fit and a large is just to much material. dont worry though i wouldnt fit it was a joke, 6'-6" 330 doesnt fit into anything that says medium on it doesnt matter how many x's you put before the medium :rofl:

when the time comes I will make a new thread but right now until i have more information such as, a design, a total price and where to send your deposits its pointless cause it will gradually fall off track as well. the new thread will consisit of the same list, but i will personally start PM'ing those people on the list and verifying based on design and price who wants what, I will get tracy to post up the paypal information. if a person doesnt want a body or bodies anymore then next person in line moves up. like i said though until i have more specifics im not gonna make any jumps

Forest went to Florida last week and had a good sit down with our shop manager regarding final design specifics. They have virtually everything figured out other than an attachment point for a vertical/ASA/foregrip. We are leaning towards an Autococker style removable ASA that would be available as an option, rather than the existing Micromag style attachment point. We might even be able to use an actual Autococker 2000 style ASA to make it easier for everyone to be able to source. We can put an 1/8" NPT threaded hole in the side of a WGP ASA for use with a gas thru grip. This seems like the best way to maintain sleek appearance and still allow for a vertical attachment point for those people that want one. If we end up having to build a proprietary ASA they would most likely have to be pre-ordered as we would only build a small quantity above and beyond those actually ordered. We would like to hear some feedback from all of you.

personally i dont care one way or another, if a special one is made i believe i will purchase one just so i have a complete micro, but one body will be going on an emag frame so it wont matter for it.

speaking of emag is the lil micromag cover piece going to be reguired for these and if so are there gonna be some made to match the body
